"The Cat Ramps" Part I
Because I know that cats like to climb, I built Vegas two custom cat ramps of her very own. The cat ramp on the left is 8 feet long, and leads up to a 7 foot high carpeted platform overlooking the kitchen.

The cat ramp on the right stretches 18 feet up the wall to a wide, uncarpeted shelf. This shelf is built into a small window, which is 9 feet above ground level. Since the sun shines in the window in the afternoons, I decided not to carpet the right shelf so it will absorb the heat. Vegas especially likes to sit up on the right shelf in the mornings, watching our neighbors leave for work.
